This WINDOW BEYOND SPACE is dedicated to ALL instruments of peace and to those who nurture and protect the little, the lowly, the lonely and the lost. In this painting I depict two powerful protectors [Saint Joseph, the head of the holy family of Nazareth and patron of the universal church, and Hanuman, the monkey god in the Hindu tradition who helps Sita and Rama on their journey to wholeness] and a variety of other symbols inspired by Oswald Chambers’ meditations in My Utmost for His Highest. The symbols used are many and varied and represent a time and a place where the lion and the lamb can live together playfully and celebrate peace with glory [Isaiah 11:6]. This painting is currently displayed at Moima Ashram in San Bruno, CA

Ariosto Coelho directed and organized on the occasion of the silver jubilee of the Don Bosco Agro-Educational Complex in Sulcorna, Goa, inaugurated by Mrs. Singh on October 20, 1986.

With the children, students, apprentices, farm hands, teachers, supervisors, managers and leaders in Sulcorna, Goa, India, where as the Rector from 1981 to 1987 Fr. Ariosto Coelho, SDB, was instrumental in transforming Don Bosco Farm into an Agro-Educational Complex for the marginalized young and the poor:

-a high school K-10

-residential facilities for teens

-a rural health clinic

-a rural development center

-agricultural and animal farms

-a farmers' rehabilitation society
